Katie's graduation

Well Friday was the big day: graduation! My school (the Kennedy Center for International Studies) had it's convocation service at 8am. Despite being so early it went really well. The program had two short speakers, an African music ensemble followed by awarding the diplomas. After the ceremony there was a short reception where my family was able to meet some of my amazing professors.

For the rest of the morning Daniel, my mom and I wandered around campus and took pictures. We came home to eat a BBQ lunch with everyone and just relax for the rest of the day. Who could ask for anything more?

Congrats! And that last picture is great. I'm kind of jealous I didn't think to take one there!
