Well not too much to report this week except for one exciting event: Daniel's birthday. He turned 26 last Monday (July 10th). To celebrate we went to a Japanese restaurant and had sushi and hibachi grill. Yummmm!
Other than that we have been pretty boring. We are still in Arabic training which goes from 7:30am-2:30pm. It's really a great set up. To break up the day we get a two hour lunch! We are in different classes which we have found is better. When we were studying in Egypt we were together 24-7 which is great but after a while conversation tends to slow down. The usual "what did you do today?" or "what did you learn that was interesting?" kind of questions are futile because the answer is inevitably "the same as you". The classes are really small, just us (in our respective classes), one other person and the teacher. I love it!!!
And that's about it. I've had a cold so we didn't do anything too thrilling this weekend and am constantly running away from Daniel so as to not infect him.
