Surprise!

Sorry all, it's been a few days since I've updated and here's why: I made a surprise trip to Canada!! My little sister Emma (see July 2005 archives for pictures of her visit to Utah last summer) graduated from high school this week and I flew in for the big event. While everyone was surprised to see me I did not get the reactions I was expecting. Instead of exhuberant screams of joy I got perplexed looks, the "you look like Katie but you can't be Katie" look. I think they were in shock; Caleigh kept poking me to make sure I was real.

Anyhoo, that was fun. So I got here on Saturday and have been playing catchup ever since. The kids have all grown a ton, Brendan especially. He has gotten taller and thinned out a lot- he's even been working out some. Look out ladies!

Since I know it may be a few years before I see my family again I have been trying to spend a lot of one on one time with every one. I have been going on walks through the park with my Dad, shopping with Emma, chilling with Caleigh and a movie, lunch with Grandpa Davis and kite-flying with Bobby. In fact, here are some pics...
