Petra. This was the most amazing day! I have wanted to be an Egyptologist ever since I was in grade six but walking through Petra far surpassed my awe of the pyramids at Giza. I think it was due to the fact that the pyramida are so widely photographed that I knew exactly what to expect whereas Petra was more than I had imagined (which had been just a really cool shrine built into the rock like in Indiana Jones).
