If you're not you'd better because I almost fell over when I heard...Dan was offered a job with the Foreign Service!!! We found out this morning that they had been trying to contact us for two weeks but had our old contact info. Dan will go to D.C. in January and start on the 9th. We were both on a cloud all day. I was in such a state of shock that I went to pour myself a glass of milk but ended up pouring a glass of grated cheese. ;-)
Anyway, these next few weeks are going to be hectic getting Dan ready to go and the time apart will be hard (I will be staying to finish up my degree) but we are so thrilled that Dan's dream has finally been realized.
